Dune HD TV-301 Represents a Revolution in IPTV Media Players Back

Like the award winning Dune HD TV-101 which has become a best-seller world wide, the TV-301 adds additional features, combining media player capabilities, which allow playback of network delivered and internal HDD stored video in standard and high definition up to Full HD (1080p), with a universal IPTV STB intended for program reception of digital television and playback of video programs and films on demand (VOD).

Shipping with and without built-in Wi-Fi, both versions feature the same compact elegant modern design paired with attractive pricing.

The Dune HD TV-301 features the highly capable SMP8670 media processor produced by Sigma Designs, a built-in compartment for installation of a 2.5" SATA HDD, high-speed USB Slave 3.0 port with two USB 2.0 ports, as well as a slot for SD flash memory cards. Video outputs include Digital A/V output version 1.3, composite and component analog connectors. Audio may be transferred via Digital A/V output or analog and digital optical outputs. Unique to media players in this range, the TV-301 includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed data transmission to the internal hard disk drive. Additionally, wireless network communication via an internal Wi-Fi module (TV-301AW model only) compatible with b/g/n standards, is available. Other unique features include IP control capability for apps and advance remote control devices, and internal IR-port for flexible placement of the player in hidden locations.

Designed to easily plug into IPTV and OTT services via third party software and CAS systems, the Dune HD TV-301 exceeds all requirements for modern multimedia players, allowing record and playback of a wide range of media file types and formats, using an optionally installed hard disk, external storage, networked computers or compact flash memory cards. Compatible with nearly all digital media types such as photos, audio, video, IPTV, OTT, Internet radio, DVD ISO and other HD format file types, the TV-301 also includes a built-in Internet browser, and with the Dune HD SDK, application plug-ins will be made available on a regular basis.
