Dune HD completes integration with KIT digital’s Connected Device Framework

Network Operators to benefit from simple video delivery across multiple screens 

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS, September 24, 2012 – KIT digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: KITD), a leading video management software and services company, today announced the integration of its Connected Device Framework (CDF) with Dune HD’s market-leading set-top-boxes. The KIT CDF gives Dune HD products, targeted at network operators, full content management of the user experience as part of the company’s Cosmos video management platform.

Dune HD is a world leader in universal media player products, combining IPTV/VoD support with broadcast reception and DMA (Digital Media Adapter) functionality. The integration with the KIT CDF reduces the complexity of delivering multiscreen video solutions allowing Dune HD’s leading broadband media customers to seamlessly connect its products to a wide range of devices, including those running iOS, tablets and game consoles. The KIT CDF sits on top of KIT digital’s Cosmos video management platform, allowing content protected by Microsoft PlayReady DRM to be streamed and played out through a Dune HD Set Top Box. IPTV operators can then be assured that content is fully protected on Dune HD devices.
