Known Problems and Limitations

General:
- During boot, there is no logo on the TV and there is no message on the front panel display. "LOADING" message appears on the front panel only in the very end of the boot process (in about 25-30 seconds).
- The buttons on the case are not yet working; only buttons on the remote are working.
- The information shown on the front panel display is currently very trivial and limited.
- On the first boot, only analog video output is configured (in NTSC mode); HDMI video output is not configured. You should manually configure video output using "MODE" button on the remote (e.g. "MODE", "4" for HDMI/720p60).
- Not all video modes supported by the chip can be currently chosen in setup.
- When starting video playback and returning from video playback to file browser, video output reinitialization takes place (blank screen is shown on the TV; can take up to 5-10 seconds in case of HDMI connection).
- With some TV models, HDMI connection may not working properly (known issues include picture absence or periodical picture loss).
DVD playback:
- OSD for almost all user actions is missing yet (the only supported OSD is "INFO").
- Fast/slow forward/rewind functions are not supported yet.
- Zoom and aspect-ratio adjusting is not supported yet.
- Volume adjusting (and mute) are not supported yet.
- Audio/video sync adjusting is not supported yet.
- Switching subtitles and audio-tracks during playback occurs with some delay.
- A possibility to manually enter playback position (HH:MM:SS) is not supported yet (the only ways to change playback position is to jump to DVD-chapter with given number using 0..9 buttons and to seek by 10s/1m/10m using left/right/up/down/page-up/page-down buttons).
- "INFO" function shows very limitated information at the moment.
- There are issues with playback of some DVD disks (known issues include wrong aspect ratio, wrong handling of MENU/PLAY buttons, impossibility to play the disk at all, etc).
File playback:
- Fast/slow forward/rewind functions are not working or are working incorrectly for some files (slow rewind is not working for all files).
- Low bitrate audio (less than 32Khz) is played only on analog audio outputs.
- A possibility to manually enter playback position (HH:MM:SS) is missing yet (the only ways to change playback position is to jump to 0..90% using 0..9 buttons and to seek by 10s/1m/10m using left/right/up/down/page-up/page-down buttons).
- Support for subtitles is rather limited (text subtitles in MKV are supported, plus external ".srt" subtitles are supported for all files).
- "INFO" function does not show all possible information yet.
- There are issues with playback of some files (known issues include stuttering, problems with audio, impossibility to play particular files at all, etc).
- OGG and FLAC audio codecs are not supported yet.
- Playback of multiple files is always performed in some random order at the moment.
Network connectivity:
- Only the following network connectivity possibilities are provided at the moment:
  - Access from the player to network storages via SMB/NFS.
  - Aceess to the player's internal hard disk from network via FTP.
- When configuring a network storage, it is currently necessary to manually enter the address of the network storage (choosing from the list is not possible yet).
- Access to the player's internal hard disk from network via SMB/NFS is not supported yet.
- Access from the player to network storage via HTTP/FTP is not supported yet (in particular, HTTP-based streaming servers are not supported yet).
- FTP-access to the player is currently limited to a single partition of a single attached disk.
- FTP-access to the player can not be disabled or password protected at the moment.
- UPnP/DLNA stuff is not supported yet.
- Bittorrent is not supported yet.
- IPTV is not supported yet.
- WiFi is not supported yet.
Other:
- Writing to NTFS is not supported yet.
- Writing to DVD is not supported yet.
- Built-in hard disk formatting feature is absent at the moment.
- Support for music playback is very rudimentary (practically absent) at the moment.
- Support for photo viewing is very rudimentary (practically absent) at the moment.
- Language switching via setup is not supported yet.
- USB mouse/keyboard are not supported yet.
