A new beta firmware version (100706_1032_beta) for Dune players with a lot of new functions and possibilities has been released.
The most significant new features and improvements in this new firmware version are:
- Faster start/stop of video and audio files playback (w/o video output reinitialization).
- Web Browser (for 3.0 models).
- Flash Applications support (for 3.0 models).
- Digital TV support (including recording) (for 3.0 models).
- Internet radio recording.
- File sorting.
- Support for APE audio files.
- Support for OGG/Vorbis audio files.
- Support for OGG/Vorbis audiotracks (external and MKV-embedded).
- Support for PGS subtitles now also in MKV files.
- Support for VobSub subtitles now also in MKV files.
- Support for WMA audiotracks now also in MKV files.
- Support for SSA/ASS subtitles now also in external files.
- Shortucts to any folders/files on the main screen.
- A lot of new dune_folder.txt possibilities.
- Improved picture quality during Blu-ray playback (1921x1081 problem).
- Improved support for high quality audio output through S/PDIF and HDMI.
