Dune HD - URL Short Codes

"Open URL" function

The "Files - Open URL" function allows you to quickly load and launch files from the Internet by entering either:

• a full URL, or
• a short code (a numeric code representing a URL)

Supported file types:

• Dune HD skins (.zip)
• Dune HD plugins (.zip)
• Dune HD service files (.dsf)
• Android APK packages (.apk)

Supported URLs: http, https.

Short Codes

For convenience, a full URL can be converted into a short numeric code. This code can then be entered in the "Open URL" dialog instead of the full URL. Short codes work similarly to URL shorteners: they provide a short numeric code that represents a full URL.
